GRWM videos are just one of so many fashion trends to be experienced in the history of fashion evolution and innovation.

What are GRWM videos?- If you are a fashion junkie and quite familiar with fashion trends, then you are no stranger to GRWM videos.

GRWM stands for ‘Get ready with me’. This trend, which has one of its first trailblazers as the Beauty YouTuber Shaaanxo, has flooded the internet space in recent times, exhibiting the intricacies of putting together a masterpiece for an event.

The trend is an all-inclusive one- it doesn't fall specifically on any gender. It has, however, sparked a lot of controversies and criticisms given the almost explicit nature of some.

However, the real question is; Have we lost the true essence of these videos? Why did we have these videos in the first place?

For fashion GRWM videos, we want to believe that it goes beyond simply just showing us how you get ready to serve us premium fashion inspirations for our daily dress-up attempts.

We love the GRWM videos done by Safvan Hussain, a Dubai-based cat lover and fashion influencer on IG. He stands out with the insane creativity that goes into his GRWM videos- top-notch graphics and video manipulations that make his videos exciting to watch.

It just brings to our mind the effort and creativity that goes into these videos- many hours of shooting each outfit change, compilation, high-end editing, and modifications.

You can recreate his best videos with some of these pieces on the site. There is the match point heads-up hat, The Oxford cross-dye roll-up pants, The Armour Launch short-sleeve t-shirt, The Diadora hoodie, and The Fila Axilus-3 shoes

Marta_sierra, for the females, creates videos that not only employ creativity that is out of this world but timeless and boundless fashion for all ages.

Her content are mostly outdoor transition videos, and encompass many outfit changes at once. The way she has fun while transitioning is like a breath of fresh air.

These pieces on the site are sure to bring some of the looks in this video to life- A Channel ombre blue Sweater, a Salzburg jacket, a quality white turtle neck, and this Sibel dress by Diane Van Furstenberg.

Trey Bryant, a fashion influencer in Atlanta, goes the extra mile to not only put the finest pieces together but also share style hacks and the ‘wrong’ and ‘right’ ways to layer or put together a complete fit.

We particularly love his recent video about the right way to layer your outfits, also the one that talks about how to stand out at any event/ gathering. We love his videos because they are value-packed.

He is more on the formal and semi-formal side of men's fashion, unlike Safvan Hussain, who is more into casual fits that scream, “Holla at your boy!”

Then there is Nigerian fashion influencer Larry Hector, who serves us bold, audacious,  and sometimes androgynous fashion on a platter. His ensemble is typically for the ‘unconventional’ select few audiences who are not afraid to defy fashion norms and express fluidity in their fashion sense.

He doesn't have a conventional style when it comes to his GRWM/ transition creations. One thing is for sure though, he's certainly getting your jaw dropped. The colours and aesthetics on his page are an attention magnet, with his caramel skin shining through.

‘If it's not extra, then it's not Larry hector; hold on a while longer, he's about to switch it up!” Above is a photo of him to feast your eyes on. What eye candy!

These guys daily bring to our consciousness the true essence of dress-up/transition videos, and we love to see it!

Follow them on IG and a couple more others not included in this post to stay on top of your game in fashion.

No doubt, GRWM videos are here to stay, and we cannot wait to see just how revolutionary the trend is going to get in the coming years.
