Confidence is a daily effect, one born out of a conscious effort to look your best at all times, irrespective of the occasion- however trivial or inconsequential it might seem.

Introduction:

Should we talk about the fact that most people go to the gym only to land the ‘perfect body' and not for the countless health benefits it is recorded to bring?

For the ladies you all want to get snatched, trim your waistline to a size 24. What you don't know, however, is that while you're getting that body snatched at the gym, it can double up as an opportunity to get SNATCHED by some TDH.

And by TDH, we mean a tall, dark, and handsome hunk. Where better to find them, right?

However, this post isn't just for the ladies, neither is it a call to action to purchase a gym membership solely to hit on hunks or pretty amazons, for the guys. This is about making a good first impression. Scratch that, a good DAILY impression.

It's not weird at all to want to dress up for the gym, I don't know why anyone would think that. The gym is a public space just like every other place you dress up to, so why not?

However, making a good first impression should not be the only inspiration powering your gym wear selections. Choosing the right outfit can be beneficial in so many other ways.

Judging by this, you will need to have the right tips to work with to ensure that you make the right selection for your gym outfit. Below are a few tips that can help.

Go for Breathable and stretchy fabrics.

Breathable fabrics are generally fabrics that allow air to circulate and facilitate quick moisture evaporation leaving the body cool and dry. Gym sessions are called ‘sweat sessions’ for a reason; as such, breathable fabrics will come in handy.

Why stretchy Fabrics? Because they allow for easy movement of every part of your body, in line with whatever workout task you have, in the gym or the field. Take a look at some examples here

Go for the right fit.

An oversized fit, even if it's stretchy and breathable, will look unpleasant and not allow for easy movement of the body. Imagine running many miles or cycling in thick and bogus tracksuits.

In the same vein, overly tight gym fits make you very uncomfortable and can equally restrict movement, but more so now because you are scared of ripping a seam.

If your tracksuits and workout vests do not look this good on you, they just might not be the right fit for you.

Consider the day’s activities.

Why do you think many gym buddies wear skimpy track shorts like this one, especially on ‘leg days’? Yeah, we all know they do it to show off too. LoL.

However, it enables easy movement of the thighs while they work out,

For cycling and stretching, leggings are perfect.
